hoho. chia sorta enlightened our class today with her ohsowonderful speech.
To state the truth, both we, 2Highlighted, and chia are in the wrong.
no one's right this time round.
and no one's totally at fault either.
The petition shouldn't be started at all. To chia, it symbolizes rebellion against her say. Yet we feel that that petition we submitted to her meant no harm, and it was only a polite request.
That is why our actions deeply pierced her heart. After all, she's totally devoted to our class, and in rain or shine, she's always there to support us, to lead us to the right path. But her efforts were to no avail. No one in our class appreciated her efforts. Not until today.
Though so, she has absolutely no rights to compare us with 2B. We're 2 totally different classes with a totally different spirit and attitude. It is no wonder that we learn things at different paces, and that we're worlds apart in class MSGs and such.
Why compare? Will doing so make both parties feel better?
Like what chihyun mentioned, comparing us with 2B will only make us feel more depressed. 2B may be better than us academically, but they may lose to us in other aspects. Don't sing too many praises of them. You can jolly well go be their co-form. We won't care. Neither will we stop you.
She also stated that it was only fair for 2B if we're given the same amount of time to complete the speech.
But it was already unfair from the start. Was it fair of you to compare 2H with the ohsomighty 2B? Was it fair that you constantly had to remind us to keep up to 2B's academic standards? Was it fair for you to treat them like God and treat us like dirt? Was it fair that you sing praises of them and badmouth us? You know the answer. Don't act fair and square when you're not.
Tears were welling up in her eyes as she said those. Indeed, 2H has utterly disappointed her. She was backstabbed by people she trusted, and was pierced in the heart by 28 darts. Yes, the amount of pain she suffered is indeed beyond imagination.
we, the 2Highlighters, were also deeply wounded by her words. Yet we have 33 people to split the sorrow and injustice we suffered. Chia is solely an individual.
Chia, what for rake up the past? What for create such tension during english lessons? Reflect on your own misjudgements too. Dare you say you're 100% right in this?
2H, please, view this from an unprejudiced point of view. Only then will the truth slowly come to light. She's our co-form, it's only right that we respect her.
