haha school ended at 12noon yesterday. spring cleaning was fun; class 3G seems cleaner now! :D
went to JEC with siyu, vic, madel and jie-en after school to lunch at pizzahut. then we saw the 3B peeps, then went with them to cdens. only a handful of people wanted to bowl though. i stayed there and watched lurr. coz I dun like bowling, I suck at it and I find it boring.

it was chihyun's and sheryl's first time at bowling. haha I took a video of their first time with my w810i. teh way their ball roll into the gutter, their exaggerated reactions, how they chickened out when it was their turn. man, i was laughing like hell. (lmao i sound so sadistic)
victor and wuyi din really join in the fun lo. most of the time they were sitting at the benches doing their hmwk and chitchatting.

now that I think of the fun the bowlers had, i wanna try bowling again! >.<
anyway, HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR TO ONE AND ALL! :D

today yuhua bandsmen came to our school for a pretty short practice. ms chan wants us to listen to each other, so yeah =/.
nothing much to say/be proud of it. yuhua is pro, end of story. rv is...oh nvm.
I feel so damned zi4 bei1, but how am i supposed to put in my best when i don't even have a passion for my own instrument?

well i went to JEC with jie-en, siyu and wuyi to meet madel and another of their current classmate, yingting. we boarded a bus full of band ex-cos and had our lunch at JEC's kopitiam. then siyu and wuyi left for home, whilst i stayed back to kacao their bicultural project meeting. abit extra no?? =p

and then we compared the length of our hands, feet, and legs. stupid right, but it actually led me to a real unbelievable self-discovery.
look now, madel's currently 163cm, jie-en's 160cm and I'm 170cm.

firstly we compared our feet length, mine and madel's are of the same length and jie-en's were slightly shorter.
then we decided to compare our arms. madel's was longer than mine and mine were slightly longer than jie-en's. she had long fingers you see. but her arm itself without the fingers is already longer than mine! >.< >

!@#$ ing hell.

thanks to this incident, i've earned myself the most ohsofabulous nickname of the century.

i'm determined to run at least 6.4km every week!
if I run 2.4km tmr then I'd have run 8.4km this week.
an accomplishment indeed for someone with uber-weak stamina.

and there's this UK trip offered for geog students in the sec3 cohort. costs abou $2,600, very pricey, but I'm sure this amount will be well-spent. but if I go for this trip, then I'd have to give up band's japan trip at the end of this year. or maybe I might not go for both.
haish nvm. tmr ask const and sheryl. if they can't make it for the japan trip then i won't go too, coz I dun wanna be the only sec3 saxoplayer over there. and then i'll consider going for the UK trip coz madel is encouraging me and siyu to go.

walked/ran 4.4km today! and to my surprise my leg didn't ache! my back ached instead -.- damn, think my backbone's curving again... I hope I don't become a hunchback in the future.

and I heard sheryl shook hands with wuzun last sunday. GRR. she and her sis went to Fahrenheit's mini-concert without finishing her hmwk, according to chihyun. and there I was chionging my math and chem at home. waddehell can!!

band today was nice. at least, we got to play amazing grace, and I've got the same parts as alto and tenor sax. zihan and const didn't come today, kenny solo-ed the melody part in amazing grace. and I've got melody too =DD.
then chaiying said my feet were small. coz I wear size 7 shoes and she wears size 6, and I'm very much taller than her. well at least she's the first person ever who commented that my feet are small. and I quite agree coz size 7's indeed small for someone of height 170cm. =p
PS: Jiro Wang wears size 7 shoes too! haha small footed tall guy xD.

today sibei sian.
we had a combined lecture for 3G, 3K, 4G, 4H and 4I.
ok I swear I was paying 70% attention and that's quite an achievement already.
then yc sorta made fun of huangyao who was in fronta him, by pushing her head whilst she was picking up her pen or smth.
then i told him "walao yc you very bad can?!"
i mean he could've broken her neck. it's not a joke really.
siyu was like sitting beside him. forgot how she reacted, but i'd betcha she was very unhappy about it too.

sibei suay lah. mr. *** saw what he did.
and the five of us (me, siyu, yc, jingyuan and zimin) were retained after we were dismissed from the lecture. like c'mon, i swear i and siyu and the other two girls were innocent. yc was just being playful. ok but he really deserves it, like i said he could've broken huangyao's neck.
so we, the 4 girls, were retained simply for not being able to stop him in time.
if we knew he'd do so we would've stopped him long ago?! i mean like duh? our friend's neck is at risk. wth? what's more, so many people were staring at us. we 4 girls kanna misunderstood siah. i hate that kinda feeling. wtfh.

and not to forget, 3 boys in our class were caught playing poker cards by cql. and they got a demerit point. they weren't gambling so i think it's pretty alright. i mean so long as you;re not gambling, what's the difference between playing poker and uno? you could jolly well play snap or brdge with poker too.
but cql insisted they were gambling. and they told him they weren't.
guess what he said.
"I don't care whether you're gambling or not. playing poker cards is wrong."
him and his good o' pride.

what's worse the whole class was involved. i mean like 3/4 of us ain't aware they were playing. I was like doing my work when cql came in? and he told all of us to put our pens down. good lor. waste 15min lecturing us. I could've completed my work by then. freakin' hell.

summore the canteen was like so packed today; we spent 20mins queing up for food. had like 5min left to eat. and we were hurried up to class by some teacher. good lah. we tio indigestion then you know arh.

haha this is the first time ever I've blogged on my birthday, I think.

in the afternoon I went with my dad, mum & younger bro to JEC to buy HP. initially I was eyeing the sony ericsson W850i, but too bad so sad, twas' too expensive. So in the end I ended up with a W810i. Its outlook is nicer (in my opinion), but it has less functions and memory space.
and summore I didn't trade in my old handphone, Panasonic X70. coz it's worth only $20, so my parents decided to lemme keep it.
so I have 2 handphones currently, shiok eh?

other than that, nothing much happened today. bday eve was so much better. sighx, 3.5 hours left of 21st Jan...
soon it will be huangyao's turn to celebrate =D. aiyo haven't wrap her present yet.
and summore I left my undone chem w/s at school. tmr must hand in, shit, die liao.
math last qns dunno how to do. physics 60% done, the rest dunno how to do coz I left my tbook at school. geography left one part. sian lah. nvm, tmr go school pia.

when I was a primary scholar not even one of my classmates cared about birthdays. and not to forget I was a super introvert, a lorn loner =P. aiyo.

went to the sg conference hall for an hour of band practice today. lower lip inside still hurting quite badly, rmb last time i went home i saw two teeth marks and t'was sorta bleeding...
arhh, then i'm seated 3rd row, 3rd from the outside!! confirm let judges see one...i die liao.

oh yeah and when we were waiting for our buses we spotted two lizards on the ceiling MATING! omfg it was so interesting. one lizard on top of the other, omg! what a sight. everyone was staring at them. don't they even feel the least bit embarrassed??? =X

then after band we went for section lunch. murong kenny sj never come lor... haish =/.
we were like having lunch then gossiping about teachers, then we saw the clarinet and tuba pple pass by. coz we were like, sitting at the entrance of the hbfront kopitiam? =P
then zihan and pris went dunno where to get smth. then left me sheryl and const to talk about japan trip. don't supposed i'm going le, it costs $2000+ in total! i need financial support! summore if const or sheryl dun go then i go also kanna ostracized o.O.

then they brought up a blackforrest cake for me...
then i was so shocked.
so touched.
so happy.
but i dunno how to react.
seriously... o.o

they sang bday song for me in front of everyone. at that moment really felt like crying budden i cannot cry, haha. was really touched, and really felt awkward also. aiyo din expect any of them to remember my bday except for sheryl. coz i sortof told const that my bday's on 30th of feb, but she didn't fall for it =X
we cut the cake together!

then we started eating the cake. din exactly cut them into pieces then everyone take one. we dug our forks into the cake and began eating!
then in the end pris left with the clarinets together to keng zhihao. coz he was sorf of, wooing daphine or smth then he asked her out.
we were too full to finish the rest of the cake. so we decided to play zhong1 ji2 mi4 ma3 and the loser will eat 3 forkful of the cake. i lost once, zihan lost one, sheryl lost twice, const lost thrice!! xD.
got once sheryl thought of the number 98, then zihan first guess, tio liao.
another time i was (i SWEAR i didn't cheat) thinking about 73. sheryl first guesser, she tio. pro. this kind of game arh, first guess better not be prime/rare numbers :)
then no one wanted the cream, so wasteful...=/
and clarinet section sang a bday song for me too! :D

after that we went home with the clarinets + some others. then got to know the results of keng-ing zhihao. poor zhihao, but at least they had fun during the keng-ing process. =P
i went JP to get huangyao's bday pres, then went home. saw xueqiang and we wished each other an early birthday. same birthday mah, haha so cool right xD.

birthday eve was great. i'll rmb today forever for sure!
and on the official birthday tmr i'm gonna get a new handphone! but i can't trick people into taking pictures with my old hp anymore =/.

then there was the saxos ensemble thingy. wo0tz, i finally know that yuhua bsaxophonist's name. man, his tone totally rocks seh. maybe i should take a leaf outta his book.
which reminds me, i'm supposed to be using size 3.5 reed now. gonna change next week.

then later i went home with const, bought kfc to eat coz i skipped dinner. reached home at around 10pm+ and ate my shroom's burger meal. eat liao then went to bathe, then went to my room and watched xingpingguoleyuan. haha, xiaoxiaoyu's cute! =p left with 4 more episodes to watch. after that i gonna watch the saiyuki reload siyu lent me! i lent her aiqingmofashi in return. i bet she'll love it xD.

1st post of year 2007, 1st day of school.

arrh thanks to a stupid traffic jam on the way to school, me and sheryl were almost late can.

6.40am board bus, 7.20am alight. usually it takes about 25min to reach school. and today we're stuck in a jam for 15min! arrgghh.

1st day of school, 1st time late. not auspicious yea. guess I hafta wear red for CNY? =P

btw, 3G's a class with rowdy boys. but they're quite friendly too, so yeah =/

but me, siyu and victor are bent on switching class. we're gonna take pure triple sciences without humanities! so we'll most probably get into 3K, and have 8 2Hians down there!!! :D
we were warned that we'd regret swithing to 3K, anyways. but nvm! :D

we were released by our teacher at 3pm+ today, and we're supposed to be off by 2pm+! madel and jie en waited for us for so long siahz. nearly 1/2 hour. that's one of the reasons why can't remain in 3G any longer. like for gawd's sake, our teacher's oblivious to the meaning and importance of punctuality?!

and friday's CCA day! wo0tz i'm gonna pull a boy junior who's taller than me into saxos!! heh poor him's gonna be my successor, only then will I be able to appeal outta this instru at Year 5!

I'd try my best to keep a distance from online games!
so that I'll improve academically. and I hope I won't procrastinate as much as I did in the past.
and also to gambatte for band! hope I really, really get into SYF and improve on my playing skills. so that I can appeal to get into alto or tenor saxo at Year 5 since we ain't allowed to switch CCAs. if they don't allow, then too bad. I'm gonna start ponning senior band =P
well, I have to bear with that instrument for only 2 more years. I believe time will fly.

And maybe, i gotta start thinking about my future. psychologist, detective, or...?

sigh, I didn't really celebrate xmas this year. but i got a few presents all right.
was supposed to go to my uncle's condo to celebrate xmas last saturday after shopping with my mum, but i decided to skip it coz I was feeling sorta giddy.
so this year's xmas is boring indeed, ho-hum.

but I went to cut my hair today.
now I look more like a boy... [o.-]
I walked all the way to the other end of my neighbourhood just to find a good salon lurr =.=
I almost walked into Jurong East. those salons near my home ain't really up to standard. sad right =/
then after my haircut I walked home and was suddenly inspired to visit the playground...
no one was at the playground, so I had the whole playground to myself :D.
then after 20mins I went home.

some terrifying incident happened last night.
I couldn't sleep after watching aiqingmofashi episode 19 for the 3rd time at 2am, prolly coz i took a 3hr nap in the afternoon.
fine then, so i read a book whilst listening to my mp3. after sometime i decided to try to sleep, so i closed my book, switched off my mp3, and got up to switch off the light.
and ohmyfuakinggosh guess what i saw on the ceiling.

A COCKROACH.

man you couldn't imagine how shocked, bewildered and terrified i was (but i didn't scream larh, i'm not a typical girl). i woke my grandma up (how bad of me) and pleaded her to help nab the roach.
then i ran outta my room and saw a baby roach. ok i ain't scared of that one so nvm.
after that i turned around and saw 2lizards(baby+adult). heh. i can co-exist with lizards, so long as they don't shit all around my house.
butbut, my grandma failed to catch the roach cuz it went somewhere to hide. ARRRH. fucking roach. so i dragged my mattress blanket and all to my parents' and bro's room.
[PS: my bro's 11 this year and he still can't grow up. he's still sleeping inbetween my parents. or maybe i should say he enjoys being the lightbulb.]
i thought i was safe from roaches. but no, i was totally wrong. just then another gawddamn roach emerged from somewhere behind the tiny dustbin.
ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRH.
i ran off to plead my grandma to nab it again. fortunately she succeeded. because of this i was on the lookout for roaches all night and i slept only at 5am.
oh God, i pray that roaches will stay away from my house. lizards can stay as long as they don't enter bedrooms and they won't shit T___T.

we went to various gift shops to buy some gifts. and heh i was tempted to buy manymany things, like those slingbags, sneakers, pencilcases etc. budden too bad i have no money =/. and those earphones of higher quality are all above $20! nvm, guess i'll buy one tmr at popular =P.

coincidentally, joanne peh and elvin ng happened to be filming there! haha omg i didn't expect that! haha we saw the part where elvin pushed one of the reporters down coz he was harrassing joanne peh. and they N.G-ed manymany times.
so we got closer to them, whipped out our handphones, and started snapping pictures of them! heh can't believe our luck ^^". we were like so close to them! 1-2metres! then later we went off to toys r'us, walked around, went back to that place again, and found out that they were gone with the wind. aww...

tmr got band, and sunday is class chalet. abit sian no. i'm planning to go cycling with madel all evening/night long!! and i'll teach her how to cycle, heh! dunno whether should go escape ornot. haha. the only thing that i'm sure of is that i won't be sleeping on sunday and monday night!

band wasn't as bad as i'd expected. =P

in fact sectionals was quite slack.

then we played s-a-tu-r-da-y night and the set piece during combines. hope ms chan will choose night safari, it's more fun. budden there's a part when clarinets and saxos have to remove their mouthpiece from our instrument and gliss with our mouthpiece ONLY. howdda hell am i supposed to gliss?! ahluh boosheet can.

what's more, my part is TOTALLY SLACK. more than halfway throughout the song i'm not supposed to play at all. all thanks to those chunks of rest bars and small notes. skali ms. chan excludes me outta SYF. ahh boosheet! curse the set piece... (no offense intended)

we had band daycamp yesterday! :D
tiring, boring, yet fun at the same time.
went home, bathed, used comp till 1am. and i woke up at 12noon today and went back to sleep =P. and i woke up officially at 2pm!

ok here's roughly what happened yesterday:
we were sorted into 8 different groups, and i somehow got into group 1. it was a fairly enthu group with jiaxu as the mentor. my group members consisted of siqi, sylvia, huiyuan, xiaoxi, huiping, zhihao, sj and liuyi. did i miss out anyone?
we had icebreakers, station games and finally the footdrills competition. haha and we emerged 2nd runner-up for the overall placing! got prize one wor =D.
after the 2hours break for section item rehearsal and dinner, we had the "long-awaited" campfire. we gathered near the general office whilst the ex-cos prepare for the upcoming activities. the whole saxos section was praying SOOO hard for it to rain lor! since dark clouds were hovering above us. but in the end never rain =(.
then it was time for section item, in which every section has to perform! the euphos and flutes were very funny lah! clarinets were good at first, but due to their uber population, the 2nd half of their performance was sorta screwed. and i relized today that wenhui's a pro dancer! the other section ones were okok. as for we saxos arh...the audience didn't get what we were talking about! lol wtf!! =(( coz we didn't act with mikes. totally screwed lor.
then renzhi and yingying had their own solo performances and they went up stage to sing. and not to forget the campfire song! haha pris and chaiying sang until so cuute. budden the whole band was so unenthu, so we screwed the activites also.
then everyone went home at 10pm, worn out like mad cows.

sighx, there's band again tmr. and outta 8 saxos, 5 will be MIA. how cool is that? only sheryl and shengjue and me will be present. SIAN lor. tmr sure die one. what's more we're gonna sightread the set piece for SYF. and there's saxo soli (don't think i'm included though). ayee siannnn.

haha we had band from 9am-5pm today! PT all day long + 1hour break.

firstly we ran 2.4km as warm-up. wah shiok lor. first time i found running 2.4km shiok. my stamina is unusually suckay and i passed 2.4km for NAPFA by fluke. how flukey? well I passed by merely 3 seconds. and I owe my pass all to Lady Luck! :D
then we had footdrills. I persevered, and I survived! Which proves that miracles do happen. but my right ankle still not completely healed yet, so I had some problems pointing my toes down when doing "hentakaki", in which your feet must be lifted up till 90degrees whilst marching. tiring siah.

after that we had an hour's break! we had the choice to go outta school and have lunch. but me and constance decided to eat in school. nth to eat except western food =/.
then we had sectional discussion for the skit. but we slacked halfway throughout coz' 1/2 of our skit performers were MIA! but still we managed to discuss about the stage management and stuffs.

at around 3pm we held the annual RVCB captain's ball tournament. saxos joined up with bassoon and oboes. we played against clarinets and managed a draw, and played against tuba and the score was 11:2. unfortunately we're the 2. all thanks to that junior which abnormal height named yiming. he was DAMN tall can. without him we might've won.
but in the end basses, euphos and f.horns emerged champions. hopefully they're gonna receive a certificate from mrs. chak =P.

looking forward to band camp tomorrow!! hope everything goes smoothly. and i hope our audience will enjoy our skit...the three lil' wolves and the big bad pig! moi's wolf1! heheh.

pris didn't come today cuz of her toothache... zihan and kenny went abroad. and zihan won't be back till next year...arrh x(. murong had to be the temporary SL today ^^. all the sec2s were present. and not to forget shengjue too. today only 5 people, sad =/

I was almost late today! cuz of the stupid laggy 334 bus service...wtfh. seriously must lodge a complaint liao. must ask for more 97bus services in the evening also. if bus 334 ever lags again i'll tear SBS down. and i'm SERIOUS

we had 3hours of combines today, which is like, super tiring. but twas' pretty fun. i kept yawning throughout the last hour of the practice, yet i was still able to pay attention. haha ironical eh. and i hafta congratulate constance for pulling through today's combines as the sole tenor saxophonist!

after 45min of lunch break we had sectionals. we were supposed to go to the track but twas' raining, so too bad lar, we had to go back to our old location near the classrooms. then sheryl insisted on snatching back our old territory from the euphos. but of course we failed =/. no determination and perseverance lah. haha. but we successfully disrupted a tiny period of their sectional time. sectionals today was erm, pretty...slack? i dunno but we tried our best not to slack and help shengjue with his cueing and jerking. =/ we demonstrated to him how to jerk le. the rest is all up to him, whether to learn or not. jiayou!

ok and as usual i called sheryl "shorty" again. and as usual she gave me that sad look again. but i "unusually" said this to her today "okok you're not the shorty, i'm the shorty ok?"

wowee, haven't been posting for quite some time yea.

didn't attend band PT yesterday. coz i sprained my ankle. later worsen the condition lol. coz i sprained the same spot in 1week. they ran 2.4km and played captain's ball! =/
then after some section tuning, we went to LT3 to watch a video of how japbands manage their daily training exercises. they did diaphragm exercises which mschan instructed us to watch attentively. we had combines after that and we tried out S-A-TU-R-DA-Y-NIGHT!

after that me and siqi went for dan's chalet. got to meet her friends, cousins and fellow maplers. band chalet was in the vincinity too. and i was sooo scared i'd bump into one of my seniors. lol don't ask me why.

went to NL with siyao and danielle today for the chinese exhibition. went early and left early. and you bet twas' nuffin' but borin' =.=zzz

man, we spent ages searching for NL and wasted time walking one round around Bugis Junction. lol like wtf right. there was this irritating guy who was sorta pestering us to donate money by tracking us. so ok, i gave in and donated $2. then siyao was like, holding my hand and standing next to me, and that git, yes, GIT, thought that we were a couple. i almost couldn't resist kicking his cro*cough*tch. and dan was damn lucky nia! she had a phone call and missed the whole commotion x(.
after some time we finally reached NL. saw many 2A peeps + yujun victor and cheelin. so we went around collecting info (I almost died due to those huge walls of alienic texts). and man, do i envy dan. she has NO HOLIDAY HOMEWORKS. T__T

then we decided to go JP to purchase presents for madel jie en and tbz. and I bought a L necklace from comics connection :D. after that i applied for bankruptcy.
went home on bus 198. wah, kanna legache, cannot tahan siah. headache came soon after i reached home. I guess I haven't been sleeping well the past 2nights arh =/.

bandroom's aircon is SHIOK eh. my fingers were practically frozen stiff. what i need is not a jacket, but a pair of gloves! and i'm sitting directly under an aircon. wonder why the others could stand this temperature.
right after we were dismissed to keep our instruments, i got up immediately and evacuated to the storage room. the room was stuffy, much to everyone's relief. but suddenly binsing stepped in and switched on the fan. so i went to switch it off, much to his dismay and everyone's delight. :D
I haven't defrosted yet, btw. It's been raining nowadays. soon i'll become a snowman, er, i mean, snowoman.

here to blog again !

sighx, combines today was pretty boring. ms chan spent 30mins getting us in tune. so i decided to look through 'Stabat Mater Dolorosa" whilst ms chan was tuning the lower brass. i practised my fingerings for the very few running notes in there, but my fingers were too clumsy to get the notes right! >.<+

arrgh i hate seeing one wholoe chunk of semiquavers in my scores -.-". maybe it's bcoz of the aircon in the bandroom. my fingers were literally frozen stiff. so cannot move them fast. hahax.

but my tone has improved. budden i don't have self-confidence to play out loud.

after band, i went to JEC with siqi, ate long john's silver and went to play photohunt =X. then we took bus 334 back home.

urrgh...2H'o6 of RVHS is officially separated...
all we can do now is to wait for ourselves to be scattered among different sec3 classes of 2007...
hurrh. and there was a mass-crying session held outside our classroom today...
many of the girls cried...and to my surprise one of the boys cried...you can imagine how heart-breaking it is to watch people crying one after another.
For me, I almost did cry. But fortunately I held back my tears. cuz I once swore to myself never to cry in front of a crowd. And so far I've really kept my promise...
My day ended with tons of hugs, agony, heartfelt well-wishes, and a handshake.

y'know, our MSG was the highest in the whole sec2 cohort.
meaning that our class has the highest L1R5 among all the other classes.

tomorrow's the official retirement of xielaoshi.
yup. and her PRC pupils really made today a very memorable day for her.
they had a pp presentation featuring the photographs of her past and the well-wishings of many teachers. and she was given the honour to go up stage and give a speech.

well, hahs. I went to watch it at vivo city with madel huali kaylene sheryl elijah binsing jianlong and elijah's sis. =D.
man, L is cool! I'll betcha he dies from diabetes in the next series for eating so much junk food x). but he's cute in the movies.

we went strolling around vivocity and harbourfront after that, discussing about DEATHNOTE :D. that heartless Light actually murdered shiori! x( zzz can't stand him.
we ended up relaxing at vivo's sky park and met our RV seniors. hahas.
then we went to admire the scenery and enjoy the sea breeze. it'd be awesome if not for the stupid haze...
next time i shall waddle in the shallow ponds there =D. and ride the cable car to sentosa!

and ohyah, forgot to blog about this:
when I was on my way to jurong MRT(on bus334) to meetup with sheryl to go harbourfront, something really farni happened.
I caught sight of siqi when the bus just passed by Parc Oasis, praying on the bus for her to look towards my direction.
Then suddenly her head made a 90 degrees turn to the left. so I was like praying for her to make another 90 degrees so that she could see me. she did, and then I waved to her on the bus!! she gave me that diaoded and shocked look xP.

I got 32.5/45, whilst the highest in class is 35! :D
ahh I feel soooo accomplished...
I think I'm 5th in class? lol.

I got 32/50 for my maths P2.
72 in total for Maths. A2, ahahaz xD
and I still think paper 1 was easier.
Paper 2 is a killer!

I'm waiting for more results...

-you have to participate in EVERY performance or competition the band takes part in.
-you're supposed to march with your instru during balloon hat festival.
-you're deemed as a "clumsy ass" just coz' you can't totally prevent your instru from bumping into walls n' stuffs.
-other sec2s have one whole day to slack whilst you have to attend rehearsals with the sec3s?
-you can't get the chance to watch RVCB in action as long as you're stuck with this goddamn "important" role.

-sectional session doesn't appeal to you any longer.
-you're forever dreading that the conductor will yell at you alone anytime during combined pracs.

at least I didn't get a high distinction like last year and be pushed into Math Talents Programme by Mrs. Choy xD.
Managed a 40/50 for my Math P1 too, which is like, A1? woah.
at least this paper will help pull my P2 up. I'm sure I did much worse for that =/

EOYs ARE FINALLY OVER!
A gazillion cheers for that! :D

ahahaz. ytd was mooncake festival cum our last day of EOYs.
so I went for lunch at JEC's jap fast food with huali, jie en, sheryl, kaylene and rachael.
Then there were mushrooms in the udons.
And some baka(i forgot who) associated those shrooms with jade's hair =.="
so rach and sheryl lost their appetite due to utmost disgust.
& now I've developed shroomphobia thanks to that baka!! >.<

After lunch we decided to go home lurhh.
huali decided to come to my home to play Halo.
so me, sheryl and her took bus334 back home =P.

Yup, we had a rollicking good time pwning the monsters in Halo for 5 whole hours.
At first she was still trying to cope with the basic controls of Halo.
About an hour later or so, she could kill pretty well, so I decided to play the co-operative mode with her.
Mind you, IT WAS FUN. SUPER-ULTIMATE FUN.
we played the easy mode(coz we're still noobs). The legendary one for veterans was really pure suicide. I tried it with my bro before.

Before we realized it, it was 7.30. time for huali to go home.
I saw her off to the bus-stop after skimming through my neighbourhood park, where the mooncake festival celebrations were held at.
We both got a goodie pack from my father ^^.

I swear I made tons of careless mistakes, and I spotted one of them when time was nearly up.

me, madel, JE and huali bought our food and we happen to settle at a wooden picnic table near the boys.
Then we decided to discuss a lil' about Maths P1. And only did we stop when our radar sensed the presence of a big, fat assholic creature (none other than j*st*n).
The boys were quick to react and they vanised a.s.a.p when that creature settled down at their table. We, of course, immediately proceeded on with the consumption of our food, plagued by the odour that he emitted.
Even the most yummiest food can turn sour once they're within 100m near j*st*n.

hoho. chia sorta enlightened our class today with her ohsowonderful speech.

To state the truth, both we, 2Highlighted, and chia are in the wrong.
no one's right this time round.
and no one's totally at fault either.

The petition shouldn't be started at all. To chia, it symbolizes rebellion against her say. Yet we feel that that petition we submitted to her meant no harm, and it was only a polite request.
That is why our actions deeply pierced her heart. After all, she's totally devoted to our class, and in rain or shine, she's always there to support us, to lead us to the right path. But her efforts were to no avail. No one in our class appreciated her efforts. Not until today.

Though so, she has absolutely no rights to compare us with 2B. We're 2 totally different classes with a totally different spirit and attitude. It is no wonder that we learn things at different paces, and that we're worlds apart in class MSGs and such.
Why compare? Will doing so make both parties feel better?
Like what chihyun mentioned, comparing us with 2B will only make us feel more depressed. 2B may be better than us academically, but they may lose to us in other aspects. Don't sing too many praises of them. You can jolly well go be their co-form. We won't care. Neither will we stop you.

She also stated that it was only fair for 2B if we're given the same amount of time to complete the speech.
But it was already unfair from the start. Was it fair of you to compare 2H with the ohsomighty 2B? Was it fair that you constantly had to remind us to keep up to 2B's academic standards? Was it fair for you to treat them like God and treat us like dirt? Was it fair that you sing praises of them and badmouth us? You know the answer. Don't act fair and square when you're not.

Tears were welling up in her eyes as she said those. Indeed, 2H has utterly disappointed her. She was backstabbed by people she trusted, and was pierced in the heart by 28 darts. Yes, the amount of pain she suffered is indeed beyond imagination.
we, the 2Highlighters, were also deeply wounded by her words. Yet we have 33 people to split the sorrow and injustice we suffered. Chia is solely an individual.

Chia, what for rake up the past? What for create such tension during english lessons? Reflect on your own misjudgements too. Dare you say you're 100% right in this?

and the other classes had 9days to prepare it.
oh. where is justice.

she didn't even apologize for forgetting to upload the speech outline on edulearn.

and instead she'll just push all thy blames to us, i presume.

let's say our class can't manage to prepare the speech within the given deadline.

this is what she's gonna say.

"Time management, my darlings. Don't blame me for making you prepare a speech in sucha short time. If you don't procrastinate, it is perfectly possible for you to prepare your speech within 2days. ooh, i managed to drag my baritone sax all the way from school to Raffles Convention Centre! :D
and it's resting near my house entrance now.
oh i feel so accomplished...

today the woodwinds ensemble performed at Raffles Convention Centre.
and i'm proud to say that i'm the youngest member ^^v
it really feels good to be the youngest...to be surrounded by so many seniors...
i dunno why, but i sorta enjoy being the youngest. i'm weird ain't i?

we were dressed in 100% black outfit.
murong said i look like a guy lol. =X
she looks more like one IMO...

then mrs chak wanted me to pin up my hair...
after spending 15min in front of the mirror trying to pin my hair up but to no avail,
i decided to seek for the seniors' help.
fortunately, gim pinned up my hair in the least possibly weird way.

we were supposed to warmup before our performance.

this is an entry about the m'sia trip. enjoy! i'll come back to update the photos later :)

Day 1 of M'sia Trip

huali and huien came to my house for sleepover ytd night, so we woke up early and reached school by 6.15. mymy, we were almost late xD.

after some briefing, we began our journey to Malacca :D. I sat with JE on the bus, and we crapped all the way during the journey with madel. huali and siyao went on with their girls' business and slept awhile.

we stopped by an ulu street in malacca for lunch. the lunch was pretty average. I was full after eating abit and drinking 3 cups of water =P. and my classmates were flabberghasted by huali's and siyao's HUMONGOUS appetite (wif e exception of madel and JE). they had 3 servings of rice and they wanted more... so we gave them a new nickname: fan4 tong3(飯桶)! on the other hand, I was the shui2 tong3(水桶) -_-. and there i was teasing sheryl again. i kept serving rice to her and saying "you must eat more so that u can grow taller!". she gave me the usual "oh whatever" look whenever i tease her. so darn cute lurhh!! xDD i wish i have a younger sis like her for me to bully everyday =). we had sliced watermelons for dessert.

after that, we walked over to a nearby Baba-Nyonya mansion(now a gallery) to learn about their culture. like ohmygawd, how i love that mansion! their culture's abit like our chinese culture. tell ye what. they had chamberpots in their master bedroom to store their excrement. and they had a peep-hole on the floor of their room to peep at their guests. if their guests were uninvited ones or if they disliked them, they could pour their excrement over them through that peep-hole =D. cool right? xD.

then we went to that st. francis saviour church or smth. lol. forgot what twas' all about lah, only knew that he performed many miracles. i wasn't listening to wot the tourguide's saying.

and oh yea. there was this ice-cream seller who claimed to be selling ice-cream in a "buy-1-get-1-free" manner. so me and huali decided to split cost for the 1 ice-cream and get another free. but when we bought the ice-cream, he said that the offer has expired!

fark lah. we tio scammed! ><++ haish nvm,can't blame him. he needa make his living too.

after that we set off to Kuala Lumpur for dinner, shopping and to our "hotel sweet hotel".

we went to a Thai restaurant for dinner. mymy, i couldn't take spicyness! so i didn't eat much. i didn't tease sheryl coz she was sitting too far away. and i wasn't in the mood to do so too. coz jade's at the same table with us ><. siyao's appetite sorta remained the same, while huali's shrinked significantly. she can't take spicyness either :D. i wonder why despite all the eating, siyao still has the "hourglass" shape?

and guess what's for dessert? sliced watermelons! ":))))"

then twas' shoppin' time! i didn't buy anything as i was too tired and sleepy =(. hahas nth to say much here, except that madel bought a billabong bag at RM26 which was a real bargain, and that JE huali and siyao bought the same shorts with different colours.

we reached our hotel at around 10pm. after the distribution of room keys and some briefing from the mdm chia and mdm sew, we went up to our hotel room to have a good rest. I shared room 2312 with madel and JE. siyao and huali were at 2309 =D. i rmbed mdm chia commanding that after our baths, we should go to bed immediately. being the average school rebels, we did the opposite. siyao and huali came over to our room to drink sake :D. man that sake was darn bitter wor. we had chips too and we chit-chatted a lil'. they went back to their room at about 12 when we suspected that teachers are prancing about outside, catching those who pangsehed their own rooms =/. LOL.

we slept at a lil' past midnight to gain enough energy for a physically-tiring tomorrow :) whee. we looked forward to the canopy walk :D

Day 2

yes, a physically tiring day indeed.

we woke at around 6.30am, and we went down for the buffet breakfast at around 7+. i can say that breakfast's damn sumptuous! :)

then we made our way to FRIM forest. after a short briefing, twas' time for the longlong trekking! & we were warned to be wary of leeches.

the guide showed us around the forest. lol i loved that tongkat ali plant lah. he mentioned that it gives men energy, so i assume that it enhances the power of men in sexual intercourse =D.

and someone actually said "tongkat huali"!!! XDDD

after that we made our way uphill for the canopy walk through a suspension bridge. wah siah. the journey uphill nearly made my legs break. but twas' pretty worth it! the canopy walk was sooo much fun! even ppl with height phobia loved it. then we journeyed downhill again =)

after that, we boarded our bus and went off for lunch at somewhere. and i presume you know what's for dessert again :)

we went to the Petrosains science centre at KLCC after that. and i really loved that place, although it's all physics D:

the helicopter ride was pretty great! except that the thunderstorm which sent the whole machine vibrating like mad lasted too short.

there was soccer and prehistoric stuffs too. =)

after getting out of that place, we went shopping! :DD

me and huien bought a present for siqi.

sheesh, we're planning smth great. :)

and also, I bought 2 ppcs at wizshop!!!

huali bought 3. victor bought 3. and mad scientist kahhoe bought 4...

after that we went to KL tower. the scenery from the top floor totally rocks! we took a few pictures. and the binoculars were uber powerful. i could see two half-naked lil malay boys talking to each other from up there -__-

after another round of lecture, we set off for dinner! had a minor argument with JE as her APness acted up. then she became totally moody =P. i continued crappin' with huali about teh refraction of light and the area of teh table xD.

what's for dessert? sliced watermelons............................................and sliced papayas :DD

finally smth different.

after that, we went back to our hotel sweet hotel at 9.30pm. mdm chia, as usual, demanded lights out at 11pm. okie. so all of us pretended to be guaikias and lights were out when she came for spotchecking. little did she know that all these were plain facade. after making sure that she was asleep, all 10 of our class boys met up and played video games. they invited the girls to their room too. most of the girls went even though we were severely warned not to enter their rooms. but they left soon after they got bored =/

i slept at around 3+am at siyao and huali's room. i left my card in my room and furthermore, madel and JE were too sound asleep at even 10 continuous doorbells ringing won't even wake em' up!! ><

so i was locked outta me room for the night.

and crazy ol' huali went to a nearby 7-11 in the middle of the night to buy ppcs, only to find out that they don't sell ppcs =(

Day 3

lol. nth much happened today. woke up at 5.30am, went down for breakfast at 6+pm and we headed out at 6.30 sharp.

we went off on a 2hours jouney to a rice plantation. a briefing by the guides were held. I was practically snoozing through the whole briefing. an a tour guide was behind me!! XD

then we went on a tour of the rice plantations. i was snoozing through it too.

after that we went off to have lunch at a seafood restaurant near the sea.

guess what. there weren't any desserts! T___T my watermelons.......

then smth drastic happened on e bus. i requested politely to have the outer seat for just 30mins, but JE refused. and she got pissed with me. LOL. ok lah. fine lah. i don't sit with her lor. i went in front and sat with lonely timothy =)

and i just realized how lame and fun-to-be-with he could be =PP.

but nvm. he was playing his gameboy color. so i didn't really bother him so i turned to crap with madel. and i just realised she could really act like a super-nerd! XD

after visiting the oil palm thingy and the ricemill thingy, we were on our way back to SINGAPORE!!!

before we realized it, night arrived. timothy kept his gameboy and played with his torch, pretending that he's an anglerfish. then he went to sing some ulu cantonese songs. kahhoe and wayne were having a pokemon battle. lol. and wayne won. kahhoe didn't use his lvl 84 mewtwo =(((

then madel was acting nerd again.

haha that's about all bah. we reached singapore at 10pm plus. then i boarded bus 334 and went back to home sweet home :D.

I only played a concert Bb quaver in triple piano.
it was only a quaver. relac relac!
my embouchure won't change. and anyway i sorta forced that quaver out.
my tone in alto saxo totally sux man T__T. 7months since I last played it.
i think they thought that i actually played a tune into the alto, so they were like, overreacting?

anyway band's performance was a success today :).
so happy to see my classmates all smiling at me on stage xD
at that moment, inexplicable joy filled my heart. my stage fright went away =P
honour and glory to RVCB!

I was thinking about this omw back to class:
zihan and pris got their big time solo.
when'll murong's turn arrive? she's dying for one.
when'll my turn arrive? i'll leave this band with a truckload of regrets if i don't get mine.
but at least i was sorta consoled when i got a friendly hug from constance upon entering my class xD. it's been a long time since i've hugged a friend =P

then i can't concentrate during combined prac due to blurred vision.

we went for sectional prac at roughly 5pm...
the altos and tenors split up for sectionals to focus on their own stuffs.
being the odd-1-out ultimate extra baritone, i had no choice but to join e tenors ):
nvm i've gotten used to it.

used to think that life in band with eddee was toturous. now that he's retired...i feel like i don't belong to any section...
he stresses me up time and again, forcing me to understand his so-called theories and concepts of music. I swear I could've coped better figuring out the rhythm on my own. his theories just confuses me, and his naggings often give me nth but mental blocks. but now...i've gotta be alone for a couple of years more. i'd really jump at any chances to go over and join constance in tenor xD. it's impossible for me to go back to alto...

PS: I just realized my junior plays maple! a lvl 51 cleric in aquila! OMG :D

we'll be playing Disco Party I for teachers' day...
it's a sickening song i tellya =.=, although there're saxo solos =P
pris suggested Final Fantasy Medley. My eyes brightened up at once when I heard her suggestion. Lil' did I know that the excos rejected her idea immediately -___-.
so we ended up voting for a couple of songs. we initially decided on El Cumbanchero, but in the end sweeying decided against it as many of the percussionists didn't have their scores. that's how we ended up being stucked with Disco Party I -____-

anyway I've thought of a really fantastic excuse to ponteng tmr's rehearsal (since it's not toally compulsory...)! I haven't studied for my math test on friday, and I haven't touched my history proj which is due on friday! :D

should I be spending my time mapling any longer?
my character's been stuck at level 80 for 2 long weeks.

Some of my classmates encouraged me to train all the way till 100 before giving up on my maple career. at level 100, you'd be able to deal with most of the monsters in maple. o.O
On the other hand, some said "you shouldn't. the time you spend on mapling can be spent to do something more meaningful".
ack. both points make sense -__-

I still have many real-life stuffs to worry about. The woodwind emsemble competition's nearing. There're only 2 bass clarinettists and 1 baritone saxophonist in that emsemble thingy acting as the "bass" of that crap competition song, "Ob La Di, Ob La Da".

and unfortunately, I'm that baritone saxophonist -.-. The only sec2 out of all the sec3s participating in the competition. so i gotta buckup, and build up my self confidence in order to play out loud...

but the irony is, I'M ITCHING TO REACH LVL 100 ASAP! IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN MY DREAM TO BECOME A PRO MAPLER. i still have many things to do in maple! i wanna go visit zakum, i wanna solo a crimson balrog, i wanna meet my guildmates in reallife. i wanna do this, i wanna do that. the list just won't end. and i plan to quit maple in peace at the beginning of next year.

sighx...only left with 3 weeks of holidays...

it's currently 8am in the morning, and i gotta be on my way to school half an hour later.
tomorrow's the SMO competition...yet I don't even feel the least bit nervous at all currently.
On 3rd of June is the annual Balloon Hat Festival. we're gonna march a freekin' 4km around Sentosa with our instruments. It's bound to be back-breakin', yet I'm somehow looking forward to that day.
wth is wrong with me? hyeck.

I bought my very own MP3 ytd at Jurong Point. It's an M-Vibe, with a whoopin' 1GB storage space (in other words, up to 250 songs can be uploaded inside), voice recorder and a FM tuner. A 3-in-1 gadget costing around $200.
It burnt an abyss in me and my mum's pocket T__T. now I'm practically penniless.

hahas, ok, so my post shall end here. Gonna go into Maple to check things out =D
